SCADA and supplementary PLC programming for Caraiba Mine (Brazil)

Protomation Works delivered the complete SCADA system and supplementary PLC programming for Howden to complete a mine refrigeration plant for Caraiba mine in Brazil. The project represents a significant drop in the internal temperature, in a 1400-meter deep mine with 105 kilometers of galleries and 8400 meters of ramps, providing a more pleasant environment for the workers.
